  • Un pollo mediano bien troceado.
  • Una lata de cerveza.
  • 6 dientes de ajo.
  • Aceite de oliva virgen.
  • Perejil, tomillo y romero cantidad al gusto.

  • -Para hacer esta receta de pollo al ajillo con cerveza compra un pollo de un buen tamaño, ajustado al
    número de comensales que tengas para esa ocasión. Dile al carnicero que te trocee bien el pollo para
    hacerlo al ajillo, y si no hazlo tú en casa.
  • -Córtalo en trozos medianitos, que se puedan freír por todos lados. Antes de nada, lava el pollo
    troceado, y cuando esté seco échale sal y pimienta, además de un poco de tomillo y romero, que le dará
    un sabor muy rico. Si te gustan otras especias, puedes usarlas.
  •  -En una cacerola lo suficientemente grande con abundante aceite de oliva virgen vamos a dorar los
    ajos, para lo que les daremos un toque con un cuchillo plano o con la mano, para aplastarlos un poco,
    sin llegar a romperlos, y sin pelarlos, échalos enteros mejor. Fríelos a fuego medio durante varios
    minutos, por todos lados, y sácalos de la olla cuando estén listos para volver a usarlos después.
  • -Ahora vamos a freír el pollo en esa misma cacerola, con el aceite en el que hemos frito los ajos, y
    añadimos también las hojas de laurel. Debemos freírlo a fuego medio, para que podamos dorar el pollo
    de forma homogénea, sin llegar a quemarlo ni tampoco dejarlo crudo por dentro. Este paso es
    fundamental para conseguir un buen pollo al ajillo, así que hazlo con paciencia. Intenta usar una
    cacerola o sartén de buen tamaño, para que podamos cocinar todo el pollo a la vez.
  • -Cuando el pollo esté frito en su totalidad, si tenemos demasiado aceite en la cacerola, lo vamos a
    quitar, y a continuación echamos de nuevo los ajos junto al pollo y vertemos la cerveza sobre el mismo.
    Cocinamos a fuego lento durante unos 30-35 minutos, para que los sabores se mezclen bien y el alcohol
